A BIT ANXIOUS
Things done today
Biceps/Triceps and Shoulders 5.45am to 7.15am
50 min cardio on stairmaster and treadmill plus abs 5.20pm to 6.10pm
It's 5.20am and my alarm goes off. Ok, I'm up! I'm up! ... well in my mind I'm up. Is the rest of me up? Nupp! God, I'm exhausted!
I can't be sure but I think I'd been awake for awhile. Have you ever had those mornings where you lie there, and you're thinking ... when is the alarm going off? when is the alarm going off? when is the alarm going off? Well it happened to me ... and I'm thinking ... what a waste of energy?!
So why was I anxious? I think a few things. First, my damn cough/flu thingy, it won't go away. It's one of those annoying coughs where you feel a volcano's going to erupt, you get ready for it and then .... nah dah ... you're now disappointed because nothing came out. It's sounds more like a wheeze than a cough. It's quite pathetic. And what is more annoying is that I cough more when I lie in bed! Mmmm ... yeah ... that could be a reason.
Plus, I officially finish my 12 week body transformation with IBO today. I have been thinking about it a lot and it's great that I've finished and it's also sad. I will write more about my 12 week challenge in another posting, first I need to get some info to Sue and Lisa at IBO. Gals, you are brilliant!
This is also my final week before I head to New Zealand for two weeks. There's still a few things to organise before Perry and I leave. I will continue posting from over there and yes ... I will definitely be training there too.
As well, my beautiful sister Parani will be arriving from NZ this Thursday, to house sit and look after the cats while we're away. It's been 10 months since I saw Parani. A picture of her, and Mum and Dad, is posted under INTRODUCTION (29 April, 2006). The picture was taken a few days after Parani had a tumor removed from her breast. My dad is about to fly back to Wellington and here we are, farewelling him at Auckland airport. I would return to Australia a few days later. Since then, my sister has undertaken months of chemo and radiology. She is on the road to recovery and her staying at my house will give her the well deserved break she needs. I am so proud of my courageous big sister. What a trooper, nah what a fighter! I can't wait to see you Praan.
I'm heading off to bed now. Wish me luck on a good sleep! Goodnight everyone.
