And did mention the 30 or so visits to the toilet?
To keep track of my diet I decided to stay away from social events til after comp. I'm not normally anti-social but it's best to avoid temptation. And another thing, my energy levels go up and down that sometimes I don't want to talk to people, including Perry. I think it's best to live like a hermit for the next few weeks.
I've not heard anyone talk about this (I wonder if Penny and I are the only persons who discuss it) but this sport is hugely expensive! Why? Well there's my personal training sessions, pose consultations and weekly pose classes, Di's nutritional consultation, endless powders (protein, amino, l-glutamine, l-carnitine etc), gym fees, contest bikini, shoes, jewellery, federation registrations, competition entry fees, accommodation (at the venue), time off work (final week of comp), transportation, makeup artist fees, hairdresser fees, and finally food! I make no bones about it, at times it's been a worry for Perry and me.
Nevertheless I am soldiering on! Only four weeks and 3 days? Excellent!!

I am soooo with you on how expensive this sport is. And it's crazy because there is no prize money!
There must be a good reason we do this lol.
I know its tough but hang in there, only 4 weeks to go.
So, do you have any ideas as to how many are competing in the figure novice INBA? I know of you :-), Alicia and a girl at the gym called Bianca.
I shall be back to find out ;-)
Hi Maraina,
Yes, the time is flying isn't it :) Where do you find such great pics. I always have such a giggle when I read them!
I would love to do ANB too but will leave that up to hubs as I am awfully busy just dealing with the INBA and don't want to burn out!
I'll link you to my journal when I get the chance.
Cheers

Hi Deb,
You've prompted me to email Chris Fountain at INBA Qld about the numbers. He's usually good at answering my mails. I hope it won't be a pain to find out how any are competing.
From my group there's myself, Penny and Ava. So there's 3! Will let you know of anything if and when I hear from Chris.
It's official, I've decided to pay for my sport (or pay it back to Perry) by working as a pole dancer! I'll have the shoes, the bikinis and then the bod! What you think? LOL ;-) I know Penny is keen!
Hi Liz,
It's nice to hear from you. I really enjoy reading your blog. Great posts.
I haven't registered for ANB so I'm not 100% certain I'll be there. You're right the INBA is priority for me so right now I need to concentrate everything on this federation before I think about another.
Keep up the good work!
Pole dancing LMAO you are a scream!
I really look forward to meeting you on the day. I don't know what you look like but we will work it out lol.
And yes, please let me know if Chris gets back to you on numbers. He is usually fast with his replies.
Hugs,
Deb.
