Hi, my name is Maraina and welcome to my Chronicle. This is a personal and honest account of my journey to compete in my very first body building competition on October 7, 2006. On May 1, 2006 I will begin 23 demanding weeks of weight, diet and pose training. I anticipate the encounter will be physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting. My quest? ... to completely transform my body, soul and mind. I am reminded daily by my favourite quote from Muhammad Ali ... "The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights". In October, I'll be "under those lights!" It is wonderful to have great support.
I actully have someone at my gym just like him, his name is DeeJay and he too has been very encouraging and has helped me out so much.
We are so very lucky!!
