Now swimming two mornings a week. Monday great. Incorporated 500m sprints. Felt good, slept like a rock. Swam this morning, 80 laps - 2 kms! 50 minutes. Great stuff. Tonight I'll sleep like a rock.
Watching the Qld ANB 2005 DVD. Picked up a lot of good moves and practicing my dance.
Things coming up:

- 50 min cardio tomorrow morning
- Visit Di and replan diet
- Bi's/tri's and shoulders tomorrow afternoon

Stay strong everyone! Have a great weekend.

Well... I feel the pain with respect to the 80 laps..... Reece (9 years old) and I (40 something) had our proficiency tests for Surf Life saving.... my boy beat me and I came out wrecked (We both still passed).... However still in training for my quest to at least compete and complete in the "Grafton Bridge to Bridge" water ski race (105 km on a single ski!). Argh those cold mornings at 6am... water temp a VERY WARM 16 degrees....
Hang in there, I remember when we could both barely do 4 laps of the Galston Gorge Pool???
Remember this word... as it is always apart of our lives: "Balance" It is upto the individual as to how we decide to "Balance" our lives....
To Perry: Mate hang in there, I'm sure its hard at times.. but from what I have read, you both are committed to each other and the rewards will be worth it.
Good luck.

lastly, Maraina..... "Happy Birthday" for the end of next month
It's always an incredibly busy time of year when the competition season approaches us. Time management certainly becomes an important part of our day if we want to achieve all that we have planned in one day. LOL!!
Sounds like you're organised, keep it up and you'll be ready in no time. ;o)
Gidday Matt,
Excellent comments. Thanks for the encouragement. Future goal is to participate in the annual island swim from Mudjimba to Mooloolaba (11kms) team (not individual). Am hoping someone can draw black lines on the ocean floor, so I don't swim in circles. I can only swim straight following a line!
I figure I'd have my work cut out trying to swim with Reece.
All the best.
Maraina
Hi Lia,
Thanks for the post. Am juggling everything as best as I can.
